Coronavirus (COVID-19) update for Walki’s interest groups

Dear Partner,

We are living in extraordinary times. At Walki, we are determined to do our share in securing the supply chains that keep societies running despite the Covid-19 virus.

As a supplier of materials to the packaging industry, we are recognized as an essential part in the supply chain making sure food, pharmaceuticals and protective clothing are available according to the highest hygienic standards.

The company is closely monitoring the situation and taking strict health and safety precautions at all plants to protect the wellbeing of its employees and all stakeholders. Countermeasures and contingency plans have been put in place where an increased risk of supply disturbances has been identified. The measures include e.g. increasing the safety stock in the overall supply chain and broadening the use of different logistic solutions with the aim of ensuring uninterrupted supply to our customers.

Thanks to our dedicated employees, all our 13 plants in Europe and China are fully operational to make sure everything possible is done to secure the business continency for our partners.

All non-production critical Walki employees work currently from home-office continuing business and co-operation meetings online. Employees who work in the plants follow closely the strict safety and health guidelines.

Walki will regularly evaluate the situation and the official recommendations and update the guidance accordingly.
